At NDC Industrial, technology is not just a tool — it is our foundation. We invest in advanced aluminium forming processes that deliver superior strength, precision, and efficiency — giving our customers a genuine competitive advantage in global markets.

Stop Choosing Between Die Casting and Forging

By uniting high-pressure Squeeze Casting with Semi-Solid Metal, we deliver zero-porosity parts that match forged strength—without the design limitations or high price tag

NDC Industrial’s Technologies.

Three Core Technologies. One Unmatched Capability. We invest in advanced aluminium forming processes that deliver superior strength, precision, and efficiency

Squeeze Casting (Semi-Solid Metal)

Discover Our Technologies That Elevate Your Products Experience superior strength and reliability with our Squeeze Casting, producing dense, defect-free aluminum parts that perform like forged components—without the waste or cost. Go even further with our Semi-Solid-Metal (SSM) technology, where molten metal behaves like a smooth, low-turbulence slurry for exceptional flow control and microstructure. Now, we’ve perfected the fusion of both—SSM in squeeze casting—for unmatched structural integrity and precision. Trust us to bring you the best of innovation and performance.

SSM & Rheocasting

Stronger than Die Casting.

Details of of Semi-Solid-Metal.

  • This process is sometimes called “Semi-Solid-Forming (SSF)” or Semi-Solid Metal (SSM) depending on the source you have read.
  • It means the material (metal) is in between liquid & solid state and the solid portion is in a solid particle form and liquid portion is called liquid particle form.
  • We normally call this metallic status “Slurry” and depending on the ratio, it may be called differently.

How does SSM influence casting process?

  • SSM slurry flows smoothly without turbulence, reducing defects like oxidation and air entrapment.
  • Its nucleation forms microstructure into globular crystal, offering higher strength, ductility, and structural integrity whilst conventional molten metal’s microstructure is dendrite which is less strong and easy to crack when influenced by outside compaction and internal stress.

Where to apply SSM to have its full potential?

  • The process that can fully utilize the potential of SSM is Squeeze Casting and it’s now available at NDC!
  • Traditionally, SSM was limited to die casting. However, after years of research in tooling and process development, NDC now combines the best of both worlds: Squeeze Casting and SSM to bring high-performance, structurally strong products to our customers.

Faster than Gravity Casting.

Squeeze Casting

Liquid Forging is a hybrid process that combines the versatility of casting with the strength of forging. By applying intense hydraulic pressure to molten metal as it solidifies, the process eliminates porosity and shrinkage, creating complex, high-strength parts

At our core, Squeeze Casting delivers forged-like integrity—once molten, aluminum solidifies under pressure to create fine microstructures, eliminating porosity and reducing machining through near-net shapes. Then, our Semi-Solid-Metal (SSM) technology introduces a metal slurry that flows smoothly, forming robust, globular structures while avoiding defects like oxidation and air entrapment.

Close to Forging.

Semi-Solid Metal

SSM (Semi-Solid Metal) is an advanced metal forming technology where the metal is processed in a partially solid and partially liquid state, known as a slurry. Unlike traditional casting, where the metal is fully molten, SSM works with this unique semi-solid state to achieve greater control, strength, and precision during production.
